Monkeyland-kzn Is Re-opening 4th September 2020!
At Monkeyland-KZN, COVID-19 lockdown started on the morning of 23rd March 2020. We are so excited that our gates will be re-opening to the public on Friday 4th September and can't wait to welcome you all back. We will have been closed for a long 165 days. We know from your calls and messages on our social media that you've missed our forest and our incredible primates that call it home. We've certainly missed sharing the magic of Monkeyland-KZN with you all and are pretty sure our primates have missed watching all the different two-legged primates that they were so used to seeing walking through the forest.
For the first few months, we will be open from 10am to 3pm Friday to Sundays. Tours will depart reception every 30 minutes. We strongly recommend that you book your tour in advance to avoid disappointment. You can book your ticket here or contact Paula via email or on 066 479 6138 or 032 004 0178. Due to social distancing regulations, numbers are restricted so if you are a group of more than 6, please contact us directly so we can find an available slot for your group.
All guests must wear a mask at the reception site, on the safari vehicle and in the forest. Guests will also be required to have their temperature taken and to complete a self-declaration COVID-19 screening form.
Our children's play area and pizza restaurant will remain closed for a little while longer. You are, though, welcome to bring a picnic with you and we will have drinks and snacks (chips, chocolate etc.) available to buy from the shop.
Ticket prices are:
R280 per adult and R140 per child (aged 3 to 12)
A family ticket for up to 2 adults and 2 children is R670 (a saving of R170!)
Membership tickets are only R560 per adult and R280 per child - that's unlimited visits for 12 months!
We are sure to be running promotions too so keep an eye on our Facebook page so you don't miss out.
Thank you for your calls, comments and support whilst we have been closed, it's been so encouraging to hear from you.
See you on the 4th September!
